Video Feedback at the Fleet

Hi, my name’s Lyndsey. I just want to tell you all a little bit about a really cool and somewhat trippy exhibit we have here at the Science Center.
We call it Video Feedback and it’s all about… uhm… video feedback! =]P
So, in this exhibit we have a camera recording its own monitor, this creates a loop between the two and weird things begin to happen. The image being recorded by the camera (and then sent to the monitor) is delayed as it goes through the recording system creating an almost fractal like pattern on the screen. There are all different kinds of feedback that have to do with loops. Another example is Audio Feedback. Read more »
